BRINGING HOME THE TROPHY AFTER 4 DAYS OF LONG, BRUTAL TRAILS IN THE WILDERNESS OF TUSCANY
- RACE TO HELL -
Rapolano Terme, in the beautiful Italian region of Tuscany, was the devil's playground once again this year, between 22-26 February. It was ineed a real race through hell! The GPS route was littered with numerous obstacles, and the competitors fought for a long time to face the unpredictable nature. |
4 long days, between 4 hours and 8 hours of daily riding (55km / 105km per day). The route alternated speed and tehnical zones with rivers, descents, technical climbs and various obstacles such as boulders, trees, waterfalls and many others, but also zones that put the winch at work. The famous competition, being known as one of the toughest around the world, RACE TO HELL is well known for its high difficulty; the top step of the podium being reserved only for those who manage to combine speed, piloting technique and GPS navigation. |
The final ranking was based on GPS technology using a transponder provided by the organizers, and the data was collected and processed by a computer and RTC technicians. |
The ATH Racing Team riders that went to play ( and win ) with the devil were: Alin Bercea, Mihai Concioiu, Nathi Moga, Dan Dobra, Levente Turak and Sebastian Grosu, they stood out in the Race To Hell with incredible results obtained in the ATV 1000 cc class. Mihai Concioiu was to one to climb on the highest step of the podium this year, bringing home the trophy of Race To Hell 2022 for the ATV category, with Alin Bercea following close on the next step, while Dan Dobra was ranked 6th on the last day, all ATH Racing riders outpacing their opponents by tenacity, maximum concentration and mastery of impeccable riding techniques. |
It is not, however, the first time that the Romanian crew asserts itself at Race To Hell. ATH Racing climbed the podium in the previous edition as well. Despite rivaling Polaris Scrambler and Can-Am Renegade vehicles, the CFMOTO CFORCE 1000 competition models driven by Dan Dobra, Nathi Moga and Sebastian Grosu have shown their strength to fight at the same level as important brands and market champions worldwide. |
CFMOTO units offered speed and performance even on the most technical trails. Another important aspect is that no problems were reported with the CFMOTO vehicles, not even a flat tire. Race To Hell is a real endurance, physical and mental test for the riders, but also a real test for the CFMOTO ATVs. We are proud that the Romanian athletes of ATH Racing were victorious in the HELL race, as well as the fact that the CFMOTO ATVs did not show any signs of weakness in this tough competition! Congratulations to our team and their reliable partner, CFMOTO! |
