The 2023 CFMOTO Global Media Launch was held at the famous Intercity Istanbul Park circuit, attracting nearly 200 guests - CFMOTO press and distributors from 43 countries and regions around the world, including Europe, USA, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia . The Chinese manufacturer revealed to the media two of its major models, the 450SR from the SR series and the 700CL-X ADVENTURE from the CL-X range on the famous Formula 1 track. 71 people participated in a test ride with the 450SR motorcycle at Intercity Istanbul Park , demonstrating the impressive capabilities of CFMOTO models and the company's confidence in global development.

On March 19 and 20, CFMOTO welcomed nearly 200 guests, including media, distributors and dealers from all over the world to Istanbul, Turkey, to present two new motorcycles. During the event, the motorcycles made laps on the internationally renowned circuit (former MotoGP circuit) Intercity Istanbul Park.
CFMOTO 450SR: performance and comfort
The CFMOTO 450SR motorcycle represents a combination of light weight, agility and fun, either when attacking the curves on a motorsport circuit or when imposing itself on the city streets. The linear power even surpasses many competing models in the middle weight segment. Every aspect of the 450SR breathes a sporty air, being a model built for racing, but providing comfort and components for optimal use on the street.
With the CFMOTO 450SR, the company sets a new standard in the mid-displacement sports motorcycle segment. This CFMOTO motorcycle promises a premium experience for riders who want more power and increased maneuverability. The model is also a tempting tool for circuit racing, intended for expert riders who want to know their limits. It is a playful and radical approach to most normal, conventional street bike models and is one of the most powerful in its class due to its high torque.
Key Features of the CFMOTO 450SR:
The 450SR is powered by the CFMOTO-developed 450cc, 2-cylinder in-line engine that produces a maximum of 34.5kw at 10,000rpm and a maximum torque of 39Nm at 7750rpm, offering a power-to-weight ratio of 0.19. The motorcycle reaches a top speed of 190 km per hour and the acceleration increases from 0 to 100 km per hour in less than 5 seconds.
The engine relies on a 270-degree inclined crankshaft for V-twin-like characteristics and a dual balancer shaft to suppress the effects of vibration. The construction consists of a magnesium and aluminum alloy cylinder head for an ideal combination of weight and resistance. The motorcycle has forged pistons for greater engine response, and the entire unit is coated with a ceramic layer for durability in different climatic conditions.
Inside the engine architecture is an integrated water pump – for efficient heat dissipation – and a quick-release air filter with refined technology for less friction and increased reliability. The 450SR offers easy maintenance, but ensures advanced quality, with top parts such as DID chains and ASP valve springs. CFMOTO developed the engine with significant in-house resources and it is a truly outstanding power unit for both the motorcycle and the middleweight segment of the industry.
A synthesis between design and engineering
The 450SR is distinguished by its bold identity and clearly expresses the evolution of the SR series in terms of design, conveying the idea of sporting potential. Starting with the front and ending with the tail, this street bike has an aggressive look. The vehicle was developed in a wind tunnel (over 30 hours of research and over 200 aerodynamic simulations helped redefine the shape), and the menacing front wing can provide 1.6 kg of downforce at 120 km/h. Every angle and curve (the windshield is now 48 degrees, compared to 58 to block the wind more effectively) has been optimized to contribute to the bike's superb agility. The aerodynamic capabilities are not dictated only by the front part of the hull, but also by the rear section of the seat with a channel shape that increases the flow effect.
Dark color schemes enhance the racing look and dynamic LED lights deliver optimal visibility. Color options: Zircon Black, Nebular Black.
Performance and comfort
In the saddle of the 450SR, the rider can freely explore, benefiting from the sporty ergonomics offered by the lower handlebars and the raised steps. The high resistance, but very light frame and subframe contribute to the weight of 179 kg.
Sport-oriented front and rear suspensions bring control and stability. The swingarm and rear suspension is connected to a multi-link structure, usually used on professional superbike models to maintain the firmness of the vehicle under intense driving conditions.
The rider can choose three seat heights: 815 mm, 795 mm and 785 mm (standard equipment is 795 mm). The saddle is thin and offers freedom of movement. The right platform for riders who want to compete.
Safety. Premium components are part of the 450SR's specification list to facilitate increased control in all conditions (muddy, dusty, snowy, wet surfaces) and superior stopping power including high-speed riding: Brembo brake calipers, ABS , clutch.
Smart piloting. The curved 5-inch TFT display allows easy navigation. The menu is easily accessed with the help of an intuitive handlebar switch. The optional "T-box" has an integrated 4G module and 6D sensor, which can connect via Bluetooth and see real-time vehicle positioning, mileage, upgrades, IMU (Inertia Measurement Unit), security and anti-theft system, records on the circuit and other important information that can be accessed via the CFMOTO application.
The 450SR has a C/A charging port.
CFMOTO 700CL-X ADVENTURE: Scramble style and optimized off-road
Get into "scramble" mode with the 700CL-X ADVENTURE. This neo-retro off-road motorcycle reflects a lifestyle and an attitude. Passion, freedom, courage. 700CL-X ADVENTURE is the fourth model in the CL-X series and is part of the current neo-retro styling trends, but brings modern specifications and high versatility of middle-class motorcycles to navigate any road and light off-road trails.
CFMOTO 700CL-X ADVENTURE key features:
Spirit Cafe Racer and potentially Scrambler. A new color, Aurora Blue, is available.
The motorcycle has a matte painted tank with protection on the top and a collection of details that inspire elegance and character, such as the "X" logo that denotes the DNA of the CL-X family. The integrated passenger seat is equipped with a backrest that visually extends the body line of this motorcycle. Behind the windshield and a raised handlebar, the rider will discover the 830 mm padded saddle. The aesthetics are completed by spoked rims and off-road tires.
The 700CL-X Adventure shares the same rugged platform as other CL-X models, but the 2-cylinder in-line, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine has been tuned for the bike's scrambling characteristics, which means smooth and linear power at low speed. The engine provides a maximum of 51.5kw@8500rpm and 60.9N.m@6500rpm. The motor housing has a matte black plastic finish to highlight the unit's durability.
The attributes of the chassis are evident after the first few meters at high speed. The handlebar has been raised by 30mm at the front and 15mm at the back, unlike other CL-X models. The rider's posture is more relaxed in order to deal with bumps and when negotiating problematic terrain. The position allows piloting from the feet. The ground clearance is 10 mm higher and the front fender is higher.
Other off-road advantages: aluminum rims, Pirelli Scorpion STR premium tires, padded for optimal comfort. Spoked rims offer excellent structural strength and impact absorption.

700CL-X ADVENTURE benefits from ride-by-wire acceleration, along with OFF-ROAD and STREET modes, CF-SC clutch, Brembo braking system, ABS, LED lights. The retro-style instrumentation may seem simplistic, but the T-box comes with an integrated 4G module and a 6D sensor that constantly verifies the motorcycle's status, positioning, mileage and various aspects in real time with the CFMOTO application. The display also shows the cruise control function.
